As an integrative psychiatrist, Dr Charles believes in working collaboratively with other models/paradigms of health and healing, besides the biological western model. There is a current project of working collaboratively with a traditional healer to offer patients Ibogaine for addiction in a medically-assisted manner. He also incorporates models of therapy for addressing developmental and intergenerational trauma, shame resilience, mindfulness, meditation and biological psychotropics. i.e working with and integrating at a biological, psychological and spiritual level.
