This presentation discussed the potential application of Echinacea purpurea as a supportive immune modulator during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The aim being to provide attendees with the latest data on the antiviral effects of Echinacea purpurea specifically against membranous viruses (including SARS-Cov2) as well as the known anti-inflammatory action it provides in viral RTI.
The presentation discussed where Echinacea purpurea fits in relative to other known immune supportive products like vitamin C, D & zinc and addressed historical misinformation which was circulated warning against its use.
